Mohammad-Ali Ramin is one of the most popular and richest Iranian Politician who was born on February 4, 1954 in Dezful, Iran. Ramin was appointed Deputy Culture Minister by Mohammad Hosseini in November 2009. This position he held until December 2010.

Ramin organized the International Conference to Review the Global Vision of the Holocaust in Tehran in December 2006. Among others, prominent attendees were David Duke (far right political activist), Robert Faurisson (revisionist historical scholar), Haredi Rabbi and Yisroel Weiss (anti-zionist activist), and Robert Faurisson (revisionist historical scholar). Ramin personally invited Bendikt Frings (a German psychologist), a member of far-right National Democratic Party of Germany. International criticism was directed at the conference.

Ramin lived and studied in Germany between 1971 and 1994, when he was deported allegedly because of his links to the far-right National Democratic Party of Germany. He speaks fluent German. He was the founder of the Islamische Gemeinschaft in Clausthal.
